Alexander (Sander) Roux (born 1989) is a Groningen-based film producer, cinematographer, and director, trained as a theater teacher at NHL University of Applied Sciences. In recent years, he has become a driving force behind film development in the Northern Netherlands. As co-founder and producer/cinematographer of the Groningen-based production company NakedHearts Film, he focuses on character-driven, socially engaged, and often genre-transcending stories about people on the fringes of society.

With NakedHearts he made the award-winning 48 Hour horror film Stikken in Stilte (Best Film, Best Cinematography and Audience Award in Groningen 2023) and the short coming-of-age drama Koud Water (2025), which he co-produced, co-directed and filmed; that film premiered at the Netherlands Film Festival, was selected for the NFF Debut Competition and nominated for the Film Prize of the City of Utrecht, and was awarded “Greatest Upcoming Talent” at the Northern Film Festival.

In addition to his work as a filmmaker, Roux is active as coordinator of De Filmschool, the northern preparatory film program in Groningen, and as a teacher and talent developer at De Noorderlingen and various summer schools, among others, which means he plays an important role in training and guiding a new generation of filmmakers in the Northern Netherlands.
